We welcome veterans, families, and members of the community to join us for this special observance.
Memorial Day is a time for our nation to pause and remember the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our country.
It is more than the unofficial beginning of summer or a day off from work. Memorial Day is a day of remembrance. We honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving, and we recognize the families and loved ones who carry their memory forward.
For veterans and their families, Memorial Day carries a special meaning. It is a time to remember friends, fellow service members, and generations of Americans who never returned home. Their courage and sacrifice helped protect the freedoms we enjoy today.
At Johnson-Neilson American Legion Post 142, we believe it is important to keep their memories alive. Through our annual Memorial Day Ceremony, we come together with the Kuna community to honor our fallen heroes, reflect on their service, and teach future generations the importance of remembering those who gave everything for our country.
We invite our community to join us in taking time to remember, honor, and give thanks for those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Photos from the Memorial Day Ceremony will be shared here as a way to remember and preserve these moments for our community.
